My trip to Paris

Last summer I made a trip to Paris with my mom. The year before, we did the same thing. It was so much fun that we decided to go again this year. And we had a blast! I made a lot of photos throughout the three days we spend in Paris. I thought; 'Why not posted them here on my blog?', so I did!

We went from Schiphol, Amsterdam to Gare du Nord, Paris with the Thalys. It's such a easy way to travel. You don't have to wait 2 hours on a airport or something. You just hop on, take a seat and 3 hours later you're in the middle of Paris. When we arrived we first went to our hotel to drop off our luggage. Then we went out and wandered around Paris.

First we just walked through the city, then we went to the Arc de triomphe. I've been a couple of times to Paris, so I already saw the Arc de triomphe a couple of times but I never went on top of it. So this time we did and the view was beautiful! After that we took the RER (the subway) to the Louvre. We didn't go in it but we just watched the architecture and art on the outside. My mom and I really like the atmosphere around the Louvre. It's a very pretty and romantic surrounding. We walked around for a while and made some photos, after which we went on a tour on the Seine. We never saw Paris from the water, so it was nice. We started to get tired, so we went to our last stop of the day, Tour Montparnasse. We watched the sunset and it was just gorgeous! We finished the day with sushi. This day was in one word: great!

The second day we went to the Palace of Versailles. I don't have to say much about it. It's just a gorgeous and romantic place! After that we did a little shopping and ate pizza in the district Montparnasse. I really love this district, because there are little cafes, bistros and restaurants everywhere!

And then there was the last day... Time flies when you're having fun! We went to the Champ-Elysees for some shopping. Then we went to the Eiffel Tower, because you just can't skip the Eiffel Tower when you're in Paris. And that was it!

Lots of Love,
